POLYSORPBENT are made from plastic waste fibers principally polyethylene terephthalate and polyester. They are lightweight and available with wide range of formats such as pad, mat, roll.

With their extremely high porosity and hydrophobic, POLYSORPBENT are used for control oil and fuel spills on water and land. They have a high adsorption capacity which minimizes waste for disposal.

APPLICATION

POLYSORPBENT have been used to absorb and remove large oil spills from bodies of water. They can soak up oil without environmental damage unlike conventional absorbents.
POLYSORPBENT are used to absorb and recover valuable spilled oils at industrial sites for reuse.
POLYSORPBENT are added to absorbent booms and pads used for maritime and offshore oil spill cleanup.
POLYSORPBENT can absorb a wide range of organic solvents like acetone, benzene, toluene and xylene due to their hydrophobic nature.
