PureSpace Fabric-Face – Decorative Acoustic Panels with Woven Natural-Fibre Surfaces

PureSpace Fabric-Face combines the PureSpace acoustic core with a woven natural-fibre surface — rattan, raffia, sisal, hemp, jute and banana fibre. You get Class A absorption and the finished surface in a single 50 mm panel, 1200 × 2400 mm, in 19 standard surfaces.

One Panel Instead of Two Trades

Acoustic treatment and decorative finishes are usually two separate trades and two separate layers: first the absorber, then something to make it look good. That adds thickness, cost and another item in the programme — plus a finish whose acoustic effect nobody has measured. A panel that is already the finish removes that extra layer entirely.

Surface Range

All panels 50 mm thick, 1200 × 2400 mm, 60 kg/m³ core, 3 panels per carton. Tolerances: width ±5 mm · length −5/+10 mm · thickness ±1 mm. As natural materials, colour and weave vary between batches — please order from a current physical sample rather than an on-screen image.

Technical Specifications

Fire performance note: Class A under ASTM E84 is a US test classification describing the tested surface-burning behaviour of the finished product. The material is an organic polyester fibre and is not classified as non-combustible. AS/NZS 1530.3 results are indices from that test method and are not a Group Number under AS 5637.1. Confirm the requirements for your building with your certifier or fire engineer.

Decorative acoustic wall and ceiling panels shall be ECO-AEROGELS™ PureSpace Fabric-Face Acoustic, 50 mm thick, 1200 × 2400 mm, surface reference ___: a thermally bonded polyester fibre panel containing minimum 60 % recycled PET, free of chemical binder, faced with woven natural fibre, manufactured by Capiworld Company Limited. Confirm the surface against a current physical sample before ordering.

No. The NRC of 0.95 – 1.00 was measured with the natural-fibre surface in place.
